Dr. Welton has been phenomenal since day one. She’s understanding + has great bedside manor - and so does her awesome staff. From the awesome X-Ray tech that makes you forget how horrible your pain is to office staff that is kind and helpful always!

Dr. Welton and Krista her PA have been so helpful, explaining everything in terms I understand, extremely quick to reply, and courteous even durning covid which strains resources and put them in tough positions.

Let’s talk about what makes her different from my experience with other surgeons + hearing from others in similar circumstances.

First off, her physical therapy plan is in depth, tough, and gets you where you want to be. Secondly, hearing from others that took two or more surgery’s to get all the excess bone off - she does it right the first time. Also, this is the best experience I’ve ever had with medical personal - every person was there to answer any questions and direct me to who could if they couldn’t. I never felt rushed.

Lastly, her physical therapy exercises are in depth! My physical therapist was confused at first - most surgeons apparently give one to two TOPS exercises. Not 5 plus pages with a schedule and explicit directions (the Dr. Welton special).

Oh and also - smart as heck. I looked into who had the most published medical journal articles on this. It’s Dr. Welton. She’s so knowledgeable - and also so much easier to understand/feel understood than any of the four other surgeons I spoke with prior to this!

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for Dr. Welton, Krista, and their staff for dedicating their work and lives to help me and this condition.

I was in so much pain constantly. My livelihood of ski instructing and raft guiding was put on hold while I lay in bed suffering.

It’s been months (about four) and I’m doing what I love to do again. Given I’m 23, worked insanely hard, ate healthy, and had no cartilage damage.

If you’re reading this - know there is hope. You can be back doing what you want to do. You can do this. This is not the end of your livelihood. I hope Dr. Welton can help you as much as she’s helped me.

  • Dr. Welton is very kind. She is very knowledgeable about all hip disorders, preventative hip arthroscopy and PRP injections. She went over all my options and that is helping me make a good choice on what treatment I will opt for. I trust her judgement. I highly recommend her as an Orthopaedic surgeon.
